Dolores was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, received her BS from Marygrove College and her Master from Canisius College. She worked as a business education teacher at Oakfield Alabama and Pembroke Jr/Sr High Schools, retired from the I.R.S. in 2009 and was currently working at Batavia Optical. Dolores was a member of the Polish Falcons, an avid reader, knitter and enjoyed time spent with her boys at their sporting events when they were younger.
She is survived by sons, Michael and his wife, Melissa Clark who is expecting the couple’s first child of Peru, New York and Stephen Clark of New York, New York; sister, Carol (Dennis) Wittman of Batavia; brother-in-law, Dr. A. Steven Bangs of Long Island, New York; dear aunt, Rosemarie Squires of Batavia; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dolores’s family will be present from 4-7pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at the Michael S. Tomaszewski Funeral and Cremation Chapel, LLC, 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where her memorial service will immediately follow. She will be laid to rest with her parents in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to the Richmond Memorial Library or a charity of the donor’s choice.
