Alois Leon (A.L.)Boudny, 85, died Sunday April 25, 1982. He was born to Frank and Petronila Boudny on June 6, 1896 in Koberice, Czechoslovakia (formerly Austria). He came to the U.S. with his family when he was 8 years old. They settled in the Holland, Tx area. He married Hectorina Mary Monroe on May 1, 1920 in Taylor, Williamson County, TX. He was a farmer in the Coupland area up until his death. He was happiest working his land and caring for his family.

A.L. was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas and Joseph; and daughters, Dorthy E.Drozd and Barbara Boudny. He is survived by his wife Mary; son, Alfred L. Boudny and wife Thelma; daughters, Patrica Bryan and husband Woodrow; Tilda Gene, Ruth, and Alice Boudny; Irene Turner and husband James; Helen Fremin; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
