Barbara Ann Boudny, 20, died August 17, 1957 in an auto accident near San Antonio. Also in the vehicle was Nelson Saage, 24, of Austin (formerly of Thrall,Tx) who also died.

Barbara was born on January 22, 1937 in Taylor. She was a 1955 graduate of Taylor High School where she excelled in various sports. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Taylor. After graduation from high school she attended business school in Austin and was employed by the Steck Publishing Company.

She is survived by her parents A.L. and Mary Boudny of Taylor; sisters, Alice and Helen Boudny of Taylor; Valasta Bryan, Tilda Gene, Ruth and Irene Boudny of Austin; brother, Alfred Boudny of Rosenberg.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 20th at the Condra Memorial Chapel in Taylor, TX. with Dr. W. F. O'Kelley officiating.

Pallbearers were Richard Teltow, Ardene Wuthrich, Alvin Kubala, Edmund Malish, Bernard McMakin, and Robert Baker.
