Hazel Lorene Gay, 76, of Amarillo died Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel with Dr. Winfred Moore officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Hazel was born in Freedom, Oklahoma and had lived in Amarillo 50 years. She was the former owner of Fillmore Cleaners. She is survived by her son, Leon Annis of Austin; her daughter, Velma Dunn of Amarillo; a brother, Ed Carver of Freedom, Oklahoma; her sisters, Geneva Shurts of Alva, Oklahoma, Inez Clothier of Portland, Oregon, and Leone Powers of Boise, Idaho; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
