Our loving father, brother, grandfather and friend, Nolan O. Burton, age 77, died July 22, 1996 at his home in West Jordan.
Born June 12, 1915 in Bountiful, Utah, son of Ira Junius and Alice Mecham Hatch Burton. Married Margaret Audrey Eldredge, February 19, 1947. She preceded him in death on March 20, 1996 and they are now happily reunited.
Nolan took great pride in being a veteran of World War II and his name appears on the Veterans Memorial at the entrance of the West Jordan City Cemetery. He retired from the Tooele Army Depot as a heavy machinery mechanic.
Survivors: sons, Nolan E. Burton, Lyle E. Burton, Michael Lee Burton; daughters, Kathy Burton Lupica and Cheryl Lee Burton Rushton; brother, Juel Burton; sisters, Alice Anderson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will held Friday, 10:30 a.m. at the West Jordan City Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 9-10 a.m. at McDougal West Jordan Mortuary, 1861 West 7800 South.
