Thomas was the son of Thomas Whitehead and Harriet Rachel Johnson. He was born on 2nd April 1893 on the Whitehead Farm just west of Trout Creek. He spent his entire life working on the his parent's farm, never marrying. He passed away at home on 27 July 1937 and was buried with his parents.
