George A. Schrock, 85, of 1008 Sheridan Rd., died yesterday (Sept. 19, 1983) at Pekin Convalescent Center.

He was born Jan. 22, 1898 at Cissna Park, a son of Joseph and Minnie Irion Schrock. He married Viola Newcomb Sept. 28, 1921 at Muscatine, Iowa. She died July 20, 1977.

Surviving are two sons, Marion, Pekin, and Floyd of Green Valley; a brother, Joseph, Muscatine, Iowa; and a sister, Hazel Ferguson, Morton.

Six sisters and a brother preceded him in death.

Mr. Schrock retired in 1963 after 28 years with Caterpillar Tractor Co.

Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, Pekin.
