Floyd A. Schrock, 74, of Mission, Texas, formerly of Green Valley, died Saturday, April 5, 1997, at Mission Hospital in Mission.

Born Aug. 10, 1922, in Goodfield to George and Viola Newcomb Schrock, he married Dorothy Pfeiffer on Feb. 25, 1950, in Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. David (Judith) Ripper of Morton and Mrs. Donald (Carol) Horner of Warrenton, Mo., and one brother, Marion of Pekin. One brother preceded him in death.

He was a World War II Army veteran. He worked at Corn Products Corp. for 42 years, retiring from the maintenance department.

He was a volunteer fireman for Green Valley Fire Department for 26 years.

Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
