Rosalie was born December 22, 1937in Westville, Illinois to John and Mary Theresa Rigo Russian. She married Harold J. Bennett on February 9, 1956 in Covington, Indiana. Harold survives, as well as, two sons: Michael (Catherine) Bennett of Westville, Illinois and Kevin Bennett of Westville, Illinois; three daughters: Denise (Lance) Vascura of Westville, Illinois, Mary (Dennis) Lewis of Georgetown, Illinois, Angela (Russell) Kagels of Danville, Illinois; two sisters: Teresa Kramer of Danville, Illinois and Evelyn (James) Coleman of Veedersburg, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 7 sisters.
Rosalie worked for 33 years at the General Electric factory in Danville, Illinois. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Westville. She very much loved being with her family and enjoyed cooking for the family gatherings and hosting birthday parties. She enjoyed feeding her birds and her flowers and yard.
Funeral mass 11:30 am on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Westville. Burial in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Westville.
