She graduated from Steele High School in 1962 and then attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR.
She was united in marriage to Bobby Robinson on May 29, 1967.
She was a caseworker for Family Services in Caruthersville and retired in 2002. She had previously been employed with Ark-Mo Power in Bytheville, AR.
Glenda enjoyed playing softball and square dancing and was known to race vehicles in her younger years. Most recently, she was an avid fan of Memphis Tiger basketball.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Bobby Robinson, her father, Hoye Hillhouse.
She is survived by her mother, Ruby Hillhouse, her son and daughter-in-law, Kris and Pam Robinson, one grandson, Peyton Robinson, one granddaughter, Kirsten Robinson, all of Steele, MO, two brothers, Wilburn Hillhouse of Galesburg, IL, Sonny Hillhouse and his wife, Doris, of Memphis, TN, and one sister, Rita Woody of Steele.
Services took place at 10:00 a.m. on January 5, 2019 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Clark officiating.
Pallbearers were Justin Pounds, Steve Robinson, Heath Adkisson, Greg Battles, Steve Golden, Scott Hillhouse.
