Betty B Chamberlain, 96, passed away on December 10, 2018, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT.

She was born on July 21, 1922, in Hamilton, MT to Donald and Ethel Butler. She grew up in Gilman and Augusta, MT with her three sisters and four brothers. She played on the 1937 Ft. Shaw State Champion girls basketball team.

On May 16, 1940, she married Glen Chamberlain. They made their home and life for 52 years together in Augusta. Glen passed away in 1992.

Betty worked for the US Forest Service and retired in 1985. She was always an active member of her church including teaching Sunday school and accompanying church on the piano and organ.

Survivors include her two children Gary Chamberlain, Troy, MI, and Gail Anderson, Missoula, MT; granddaughters Traci Cook, Raleigh, N. Carolina, and Gretchen Farmer, Missoula, MT.
