WILLIAM MARSHALL
MONTICELLO -- William Marshall, 73, of Rt. 3, Monticello, died at noon Thursday at Birmingham, Ala. He had been visiting relatives there when he became ill.
Mr. Marshall, a native of Birmingham, moved to the Monticello area after retiring from the steel mills at Gary.
He was married to Mary Wotherspoon who survives. He was a member of the Monticello Presbyterian Church and Masonic Lodge at Gary.
Surviving with the widow are one daughter, Mrs. John Carlton of Gary; a brother and four sisters, all of Birmingham.
The body will be returned here.
