Ella Louise Webb, 92, of Lafayette, passed away at her home surrounded by family in the early morning hours of December 2, 2018.
Born on February 23, 1926 to Mary Ellen Parker and Oran McKinley "Mac" Sanders, she was the 4th of 8 children: Florence Marie, Ralph Eugene, Sarah Pauline, Phyllis Irene, Wilma Jeanette, Mary Joan and Thomas Francis.
Louise was the devoted wife of John E. Webb and they married on October 12, 1946 in Lafayette. She was a loving mother to three boys: John David, Daniel Wayne and Joseph Kenneth Webb. Louise was also a loving grandmother to two grandsons, six granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
Louise was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker while also serving as Secretary Treasurer of her husband's general contracting business, John E. Webb Inc. She was a devoted member of the former Hope Chapel Church of Lafayette and was very active as a class mother for all of her sons when they were in school.
She is preceded in death by her husband; son, John David Webb, her parents; brother, Ralph; and sisters, Florence, Sarah, Phyllis and Wilma.
Surviving are two sons; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two siblings.
