Irene Louise Hauser, 89, of Louisville, Colorado, died peacefully at home in the early morning hours of October 31, 2018.

Originally from a small farm near Hays, Kansas, she worked as a homemaker and later as a bookkeeper before retiring from Sunflower Electric in 1993. Following retirement, she moved to Colorado to be near her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by children Kathleen of Louisville, CO, Michael of Glendale, AZ, Stephen of Lyons, CO, and Belinda (Jerry) of Louisville, CO, as well as three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Irene wanted to be interred with her mother and sister and in accordance with her wishes her private graveside services will be held on December 8, 2018, at the St Joseph’s Cemetery in Hays, KS, followed by a reception at the Hays VFW.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Irene’s honor to Community Food Share in care of Belinda Boyd 615 W Mulberry St Louisville, CO 80027.
