Jonathan William Eakins better known as John, died July 4, 2017. He was born Oct. 26, 1958, to Guy D. and Martha Eakins. He married the love of his life Beverly until her death in September 2016. John graduated from Ozark High School and was a carpenter until he became disabled because of Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2016. John loved God, family and country and was a strong supporter of President Donald Trump. John was saved and baptized at the Chadwick Union Church last year. John was a fighter. John was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Martha Eakins; brother, Galen Dale Eakins; and sister, Mary Barcliff. He is survived by brothers, Guy E. and wife Jan, David and wife Sharon, Chuck and wife Millie, Stephen and wife Kay, James and wife Judy, Tim and wife Joella and Mark; sister, Janet Heatherly and husband Wandal; and nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. John’s wishes were to be cremated and the family will hold a private memorial service
