HONEOYE -- Levan A. Ashley, 89 of County Road 37 died Dec. 11, 1999 at his home after a short illness.
He was born the son of Morey and Florence Miller Ashley on April 28, 1910 in Richmond. He attended agricultural college in Alfred.
He is survived by his wife Gertrude of 52 years; sons Stephen B. Ashley and wife Janice Gilbert, Carl H. Ashley and wife Margaret Wright; daughter Laurel Ashley Albert and husband Tony Albert; six grandchildren, Jonathan M. (Paula) Ashley, Leeson K. Ashley, Jillian (Randall) Ashley Martin, James W. Hurt, Gwendolyn J. Ashley and Charlene R. L. Albert; two great-grandchildren, Quintin and Hayden Ashley.
Friends may call Sat. Dec. 18 from 2-5 p.m. only at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Briggs St. Honeoye. Burial Richmond Center Cemetery, Honeoye. Friends wishing may make memorial contributions to the Richmond Ambulance Fund or the Richmond Fire Department, Honeoye 14471.
