Mrs. E. A. Goodrich, widow of the late George A. Goodrich, died at her home in Naples last Sunday, April 6. She had been an invalid for twenty-five years.
The funeral was held on Tuesday, conducted by A. A. Haws. The speakers included Joseph H. Gardiner, George A. Davis and E. J. Longhurst. The burial was at the Vernal Cemetery.
Deceased was born in Nauvoo, Illinois January 28, 1844. She was among the first to come across the plains to Utah having arrived here when she was six years old.
During all the years she was a consistent member of the church. She was the mother of eleven children, seven of whom survive her. They are George L. Goodrich, L. H. Goodrich, Byron Goodrich, Mrs. A. T. Collett, Naples; Mrs. Mary Gagon, Mrs. Albert Henry, Roosevelt; Leslie Goodrich, Bluebell.

Eliza Ann Taggart (Goodrich) was born to Harriet Adkins Bruce and George Washington Taggart. She was among the first to come across the plains to Utah, having arrived here when she was six years old. Eliza Ann married George Albert Goodrich on November 10, 1862 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was the mother of eleven children:
Leonard Goodrich, Eliza Caroline Goodrich, Mary Augusta Goodrich, Lewis Henry Goodrich, Harriet Penelope(Nell)Goodrich, Charles Sidney Goodrich, Rhoda May "Dode" Goodrich, Esther Fidelia Goodrich, Abbie Viola Goodrich, Leslie Bruce Goodrich and Byron Goodrich.
