Lydia Helen Hendrick, age 91, died Saturday, May 12, 2007 at her home in Mustang after a short illness. She was born September 19, 1915 in Oklahoma City and grew up on the family farm between West OKC and Mustang. She was a 1934 graduate of Mustang High School where she was the valedictorian. Lydia had lived her entire life in the Mustang area and in the same house since 1957. She served on the Canadian County Election Board for over thirty years. She was a Baptist and a 50 year plus member of ZCBJ Czech Lodge. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; one brother, Glen Blaha; three sisters, Emma Maly, Adelaide Stejskal and Millie Salda. Survivors include one son, Mickey Hendrick and wife Myrna of Mustang; three daughters, Karen Francen and husband John of Sapulpa, Linda Moore and husband Frank of Mustang, Nancy Cox and husband Jim of Mustang. Also by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mabel Carpenter of Mustang. Services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, OK with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
