Mrs. Amos V. Ponder
Mrs. Amos Ponder, 901 Florida street, Monroe, died at her home Wednesday. The funeral was held in the Church of God, Georgia street, Monroe, Friday at 11 a.m. The services were conducted by Rev. Horace Taylor, assisted by Rev. C. C. Floyd and Rev. Tom McCart
The interment was at Dunn.
Mrs. Ponder is survived by a son, Thomas V. Ponder, and a daughter, Mrs. A. Heggee, both of Monroe; a granddaughter, Rachel Fay Heggee, and three brothers, Aaron Johnston and Theodore Johnston, both of Archibald, and Alfred Johnston, Rayville.
