Aaron Dry, 87 of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the hospital in Madill. Aaron was born on March 16, 1920 to the late Eddie Earl Dry and Emily Mae Anderson Dry in Yanush, Oklahoma. He was raised in Talihina, Oklahoma and later attended the Goodland High School where he graduated in 1939. Aaron was a member of the Flying Tigers as he served during WWII in the United States Air Force before attending the Southern Oklahoma State University where he played college tennis. Later he attended Central University of Oklahoma where he received a Bachelors Degree in Science. Aaron went on to Oklahoma State University where he received his Masters Degree. In 1948 he moved to Wilson, Oklahoma and started his teaching career. He married Martha Jean Fuller on December 7, 1950 in Hugo, Oklahoma. Aaron attended Tulsa University where he received his Doctorate in Education. He worked for several schools in Oklahoma as a teacher, coach, principal and a superintendent before moving to Madill in 1983. Aaron was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed reading, history and biography.
