Effie Beryl Mortensen Cruser, born December 19, 1922, in Salem, ID to James Leland Mortensen and Effie Ann Evans, died peacefully at her home in Provo, UT, on November 20, 2006.

She married Joseph DeVirl Cruser on December 31, 1945, in St. Louis, MO, and they were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on February 8, 1946.

Beryl and DeVirl spent the next 61 years together.

All who knew them remarked on their spiritual and happy marriage and their devotion to each other.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Ann Saxey (Steve) of West Valley, UT; Virla Stevens (Pat) of Anaheim, CA; Steven Cruser (June) of Washington, UT; and Della Allen (Jim) of Payson, UT, as well as 26 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren and one brother, Creed Mortensen, Los Gatos, CA.
