Betty Jane Haynes, 81, Chanute, Kansas, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at the Chanute Healthcare Center.
She was born Feb. 25, 1926 in Chanute, Kansas to Winfield Scott and Rebecca Rose (Clark) Patton.
She married Leonard "Tim" Timmerman on Sept. 16, 1943 in Southgate, California. He preceded her in death in November 1976.
She married Neil F. Haynes on March 6, 1980 in Chanute, Kansas. He preceded her in death in September 1994.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Stu Zimmermann, Boring, OR, Janice and Joe Powell, Mesa, AZ, and Roberta and Jim Cellini, Puyallup, WA; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Diana Timmerman, Yucaipa, CA; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bessie Hamby, Tucson, AZ, and Mildred Lefebvre, Hays, Kansas; a goddaughter, Josie Haynes Kerr; a very special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Joyce Haynes; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; a son, Larry Timmerman; five brothers and five sisters.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute
