He was born April 9, 1900, in Marion, Illinois, to John and Ada (Thompson) Hill.
He married Lillian Nymberg in 1932. She preceded him in death, along with his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Mr. Hill was retired from Carrier Engineering Corp. He was a member of the Masons.
Survivors include one son, Robert Hill of West Chelmsford, Mass; one sister, Nell Green of DuQuoin, IL; and five grandchldren.
Services were in Berwyn handled by Schubert Funeral Home with burial in Mount Emblem Masonic Cemetery in Elmhurst.
