William A. Hill, 70, Porter IN, brother-in-law to Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Bearden of Marion, died July 13, 1966 in a Vincennes IN hospital. He was born in Williamson County to John and Ada Thompson Hill. Survivors include his wife, Opal Deason, children, Mrs. Carter (Marilyn) Kolb of Germany and William L. Hill of Washington IN, brother, Loy Hill of Chicago and two sisters, Mrs. Lonnie Woolsey and Mrs. Helle Green, both of DuQuoin and five grandchildren.
Hill, a retired yardmaster for the E.J. and E. Railroad is a veteran of World War I and a member of Warder Street Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Mitchell Funeral Home with Rev. J.D. McCarty officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
