CINCINNATI, Ohio ? Mrs. Rosetta (Cowan) Howard, wife of Milton Howard, died Thursday, Dec. 30, I999 at the age of 85, after a long illness.

She was born May 23, 1915 in Deckerville, Ml, to the late Robert R. Cowan and Mary (Burgess) Cowan. She attended Deckerville Rural School and Deckerville High.

She managed and did waitress work at the Lexington Inn. She moved to Port Huron and lived here twenty years before she and her family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. She managed two apartment complexes in suburban Cincinnati before retiring.

Mel and Rosetta loved to travel and did so until she became ill.

She is survived by her husband, Milton; her daughter, Mrs. Cindi Trombly of New Baltimore; four sons, Walter, Milton (Brenda), Patrick and David Howard; five grandsons and five granddaughters and several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Roberta Mucha of Warren, MI and Mrs. Mary (Oscar) Durst; and a brother, Robert R. (Faye) Cowan of Fort Gratiot.

CINCINNATI, Ohio - Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 19, 2000, at the home of Robert R. Cowan, 4333 24th Ave., Lot #I12, Fort Gratiot, for Rosetta Cowan Howard of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Rosetta attended grade school at the Baker School on Forester Road, later moving to Deckerville. She lived on Maple Street while attending Deckerville High School.

All friends are welcome. Rosetta was 85 years old.

If you are coming from the north, get on Highway 25, go past Keewahdin, watch for 4300 block, one drive past Damons Restaurant. Turn right at Birchwood Estates sign.
