Billy Wayne Skaggs, 80 entered eternal life peacefully at his home on Friday, August 3, 2018 in Louisville, KY. Billy was born June 19, 1938 in Green County, KY to Cleavy and James Frank Skaggs. He loved his family, enjoyed traveling, watching his favorite minister (Jesse Duplantis), old westerns and classic TV, working crossword puzzles, reading and watching Jeopardy (everyone knew not to call him). He was affectionately referred to as “Pop”. He was a beloved Dad, grandfather, great- grandfather, brother, friend and so much more. He will truly be missed. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Donald, his sister Margie and her husband Albert and sister-in-law Priscilla.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his two sons and one daughter , four grandchildren, mother of his children, Loretta Skaggs, six great-grandchildren , two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Place & Time of Service: Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home 11:00 AM CT Tuesday, August 7th, 2018
Interment In: Wilson Cemetery, Summersville Community
Visitation: 5-8:00 PM Ct Monday, August 6th, 2018
Minister: Dan Perkins . The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Wilson Cemetery. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
