Maxine was the daughter of Florence Elizabeth Snodgrass and William Manly Whaley. She was born Wednesday, June 18, 1930 in Texarkana, Arkansas . Maxine was a fraternal twin to her sister Christine. She married Billy Ora Burt on July 13, 1950 in Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma. Billy Burt preceded her in death in 1958. She married Billy Gene Branam on July 18, 1962 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Billy Branam preceded her in death in 2011. In addition to her husbands, Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers: Billy, Ben, Jim, John and Buddy and by seven sisters: Minnie, Lela, Syntha, Ida, Lois, Allene and Effie. She is survived by her four children: Steven, Susan, Terri and Jeanie, five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, two sisters: Christine and Mattie, sister-in-law June.
