Simon Edward Schiller passed away September 29 at the age of 80. He was born September 25, 1898 and married the former Loretta Hagen on January 2, 1928. They lived at Downers Grove, Illinois, where he worked for International Harvester until his retirement in 1962, when they moved to Argonne, Wisconsin. His wife, Loretta, passed away in 1965 and he later married in 1972. He leaves his wife, Bess; three sons, Edward of Canton, Illinois, Don of Leaque City, Texas and Robert of Downers Grove, Ill.; two brothers, Vincent of rural New Era and Raymond of Rocky River, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Alice M. Eilers of rural New Era, Mrs. Florence Rolph of Montague, Mrs. Joseph (Ruth) Sibary of North Muskegon, and Mrs. Mary Kowalski of Muskegon. Services were held at Downers Grove, Illinois on October 4, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial at Assumption Cemetery.
