Mr. Schiller, age 83, passed away Tuesday. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine in 1987 and daughter, Mary Jane, in 1977. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Claybanks Township. Mr. Schiller was a lifetime farmer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Hart Council 2199 since 1970 and the 3rd and 4th Degree Muskegon Assembly 704 K of C. He is survived by his children, Marie (Wayne) Smith, of Hemphill, TX, Dominic (Janice) Schiller, of Muskegon, Janice (Gary) Mast, of N. Muskegon, Michael (Carol) Schiller, of New Era, Patricia Schiller, of Grand Rapids and Kay (James) Rose of Moline; sisters Florence Rolph of Montague, Ruth (Kenneth) Chaney, of N. Muskegon and Mary (Floyd) Wood, of Muskegon; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was also preceded by six brothers and two sisters. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Montague with Father Thomas Schiller and Father Dennis O'Donnell, Concelebrants. Interment: St. Johns Cemetery - Claybanks. Visitation: Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 and Scripture Service, Friday 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Viewing: 9-10 a.m. Saturday at St. James. Memorial: Oceana County Medical Care Facility or Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana.
