A native of Anniston, Mr. Adair moved to Atlanta in his young manhood and was associated with the General Electric Company for many years. For the past 20 years he has resided in Memphis. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Theresa Adair; two sons, George D. Adair, Jr. and Thomas Adair; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Bobo, Mrs. Elna Adair, Mrs. Sara Brown and Mrs. Peggy Gates; and four brothers, Harry W. Adair, Frank N. Adair, Bill Adair and Robert Adair.
