December 27, 2012 Reva Jane Fugate, 74, Rousseau passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard. She was a member of the Middle Quicksand United Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Roscoe Fugate and the daughter of the late John Riley and Martha (Caldwell) Montgomery. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Carl, Jr. Roscoe and Thomas Fugate; one daughter, Linda Mae Fugate; three brothers, Ollie, Melvin and Pat Montgomery; one sister, Genoa Williams. She is survived by three sons, William Fugate of Bays, Sam Fugate of Rousseau, James Beecher of Rousseau; one daughter, Rachel Fugate of Jackson; two brothers, Eldon (Pen) Montgomery of Salyersville, Ellis Montgomery of Salyersville; two sisters, Hazel Montgomery of Ohio, Lena Mae Montgomery of Salyersville; three grandchildren, Elisha Ann Fugate, Cassandra Brooke Fugate and Carl Pelfrey. Funeral services Sunday, Dec. 30, 11AM at the Breathitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hirley Smith officiating. Burial in the Back-Fugate Cemetery at Hunting Creek Road at Rousseau.
