ROPP, Lloyd Delton Passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at The Village of Winston Park in Kitchener with his family by his side. Lloyd Delton Ropp was born November 19, 1926 in Mornington Township. Loved father of Wayne (Brenda), Sharon, Bonnie (Howard), Dwight (Dalene), Susan (Gary) and Dean. Dear grandfather of Jason, Bryan (Ropp), Dana, Julie, Rob (Mitic), Nathan, Rachel (Riddle), Brandon (Ropp), Jenna, Kira (Scheffelmeier), and 16 great-grand children. Lloyd is pre-deceased by his parents William and Magdalena (Steckley) Ropp, sister Doris Ropp and brothers Ivan (Mildred), Lincoln (Blanche), son Paul, son-in-law Robert Mitic, grandson Jordan and great-granddaughters Nicole and Emily, his first wife Hilara (Schultz). Lloyd was an industrial electrician working in the Perth County area and then in Waterloo Region. He was very interested in technical issues and after retirement did the Wonder word puzzle in the daily newspaper. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME, WATERLOO CHAPEL, 617 KING ST. N. WATERLOO (across from Home Depot) from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14th. A Celebration of Life will be conducted in the chapel on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
