Funeral services for Johnny Wayne Elliott age 80 of West Monroe and formerly of Columbia will be held 2:00 PM Sunday June 3, 2017 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Rickey Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson, alongside his parents. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 PM until time of service.

Johnny Wayne Elliott was born on November 30, 1937 at Shreveport, LA to the union of his parents John Howard Elliott and Zelma Irene Finley Elliott Lafferty and passed from this life on June 1, 2018 at the Avalon Nursing Center in Monroe following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory his cousin Bobbie Ruth Finley Downs and cousin Mrs. Peggy Dunn of West Monroe. He also leaves a host of other cousins and family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Finley, Bo Hatten, John Dunn, David Dunn, James Smith and Jim Gilmore. Honorary pallbearers include Robert Bennett, Jay Finley and Ronald Bennett.
