Services for Zelma Elliott Lafferty, 90, of Grayson were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 21, 1999 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with the Rev. James Downs and Rev. Jim Richmond officiating. Interment followed in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
Mrs. Lafferty was born in Manifest on March 11, 1909 to the union of Jack and Mary Finley and died Tuesday, July 20, 1999 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia.
She was a homemaker and a member of Clarks Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands: John E. Elliott and Rev. H. C. Lafferty.
Survivors include her son, Johnny Elliott of Grayson and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Robert Bennett, Ronald Bennett, Jay Finley, Henry Volentine, Ted Foster and John Dunn, Jr.
