Herbert F. Leiker, 77, Anza, Calif., died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at VA Hospital in LaJolla, Calif. He was born March 8, 1934, in Pfeifer to Jacob and Anna (Urban) Leiker.
He was a 1952 graduate of Hays High School.
He married Simonne Coulter in 1961.
Survivors include a son, Jack, Spencerville, N.Y.; a brother, Ernie, Aurora, Colo.; a granddaughter, Nikki; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Marietta Kohlrus and Darlene Falce. Services were March 4 in Anza.
