Rosanne was an accomplished pianist and spent her life sharing her musical talents with everyone around her. She composed music that was performed by her ward Primary and choir. She was also a "one-woman orchestra" for many musical productions at Heritage School in Provo, Utah where she worked with lifetime friend and director, Pat Davis. Rosanne played the piano and organ in various church callings throughout her life and rarely turned anyone down if they needed a pianist or organist for a meeting. She was also an accompanist for many choral groups and soloists. She could transpose a piece of music on the spot if the singer could not sing in the written key. Her musical ear was such that she could play anything after hearing it just once. She began teaching piano lessons at age 13 and taught hundreds of students over the years.
Rosanne was very creative. She knew how to apply herself and learn new things. For example, she took cake decorating classes as a young adult and became an expert at this craft. She made wedding cakes for so many people she loved. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She sewed clothing for her children and, in her last few years, made knitted hats for every member of her family, as well as many friends and unknown recipients of her kind donations.
A lifelong student of the scriptures, Rosanne studied every morning and she had a great knowledge of and love for the gospel of Jesus Christ. She testified of the Savior often in her correspondence with friends and family. Her relationship with the Savior was very important to her and she relied on Him throughout her life.
Rosanne is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie & Elva Fletcher and sons-in-law, Melvyn Frost and Dustin Hardman.
