Elva Elizabeth Cottle Fletcher, 92, of Orem, Utah, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Rosanne, after declining health and a stroke, on Friday, September 24, 2010.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 27 at 12:00 p.m. at the Orem Windsor 4th ward chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1875 North 280 West, Orem, Utah.

Interment will be at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah, following the services in Orem.

Elva was born on August 20, 1918 in Black Pine, Idaho, the sixth child of Walter D. and Helena Cordelia Lee Cottle. Helena died two and a half years later, and Elva grew up under the care of Walter's second wife, Leah Louisa Bunderson Cottle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Arvid Fletcher; her parents, Walter D., Helena C. and Leah B. Cottle; two sisters and seven brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Rosanne (Larry) Abraham; son, Darrell Cottle (Rose-Clair) Fletcher; 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Funeral Home located by the cemetery in Sandy, Utah, Sunday evening Sept. 26, 2010 from 7 to 9 p.m.
