Jay Monroe Wilson, of Salt Lake City, Utah, born on February 16, 1923, in Milad City, Idaho, to the late Mertle E. Wilson and the late George A. Wilson, Sr., passed away at age 95 on April 26, 2018, in Carmichael, California. Jay graduated from West High School.

Jay served in the Air Force from 1941 to 1963 in World War II as a pilot and weapons expert until he retired in 1963. He was the beloved partner of the late Peggy Wilson; husband of Anne B. Wilson. He was preceded in death by his son, James A. Wilson. He is survived by daughters, Sylvia (David) Childs and Marjay (Scottie) Wilson; stepsons, Ronald L (Tina) Jackson and James B (Lyn) Jackson; daughter-in-law Patty; grandchild, 8; great-grandchild, 5; and great-great-grandchild, 1.

He loved golf teaching and club repair and painting. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Friends and family can pay their respects at the Service and Celebration of Life on Friday, May 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 4125 San Juan Ave, Fair Oaks, CA, 95628.
