Bio

I found Find A Grave while working on my family tree in Ancestry.com. Many wonderful contributors have created memorial pages for a lot of my family and I truly appreciate all the work they have done. I hope to repay that with the memorials I create.

If I have made any errors on any of the memorials I have created, please let me know and I will be happy to make corrections (please use the edit tab).

SACRAMENTO VALLEY NATIONAL CEMETERY (SVNC), DIXON, CA

1) If you see a headstone photo on a memorial page that says "In Memory of" ABOVE the person's name, this indicates it is a memorial marker ONLY and the individual's physical remains are elsewhere. If it is inscribed BELOW the name and dates, this does not apply.

2) The generic template for columbaria locations is accurate for the old National cemeteries and is used across the board only on the national database because the columbaria were actually lined up in rows in these older cemeteries. Newer National cemeteries like SVNC have done away with the row system and have created U-shaped courtyards - officially named "Courts" including signage within the cemetery directing visitors to courts, not rows.
