BRIGHAM CITY, Utah - Sedlie Williams Parkinson, 86, formerly of Arco, died Wednesday in a Brigham City hospital.
He was born July 25, 1894 in Oakley to Timothy H. and Priscilla Jane Williams Parkinson. They moved to Parker when he was seven and later to Plano.
He married Emma Kate Squires February 24, 1916 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
They moved to Arco and farmed in 1948. He had been a resident of Brigham City for the past seven years and was a high priest in Brigham City 21st LDS Ward.

He is survived by his wife of Brigham City; children, Ted J. Parkinson of Salt Lake City, Leo H. Parkinson of Page, Arizona, Mrs. Chester (Selma) Isaacs of Ashton, Mrs. Guy (Ruby) Stewart of Blackfoot, Ralph S. Parkinson of Arco, Mrs. Harvard (Phyllis) Jesson of Orem, Utah, James S. Parkinson of Collinston, Utah, Stanley C. Parkinson of Layton, Utah, Byron L. Parkinson of Brigham City, Lynn R. Parkinson of Aurora, Colorado, and Mrs. Clyde (Christine) Carroll of Littleton, Colorado; 56 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ezra Parkinson of Plano and a sister, Mrs. Evva Mathews of Preston.

Services will be held Saturday at 12 noon in the Brigham City South LDS Stake Center. Burial will be in the Hyrum City Cemetery.
