Velma Lee Ward, age 85, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018. She was born October 11, 1932 in Ponce De Leon, Florida to Luther and Ethel Stewart Ammons. Mrs. Ward was a resident of the Morrison Springs Community. She was Holiness by faith and a member of the Pineview Holiness Church. She graduated from Ponce De Leon High School in 1950. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She served as Pastor of the Pineview Holiness Church since 1970.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother; three sisters; Iris Ward, Alice Riley and Lula Mae Daughtry; and two brothers, Burlene Ammons and Doyle Ammons
She is survived by husband of 68 years, two daughters,
two sisters,four grandchildren,five great grandchildren
two great-great grandchildren
