Mrs. Katrina Rene Donaldson, age 87, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022. She was born on May 5, 1935 in Ponce de Leon, Florida to Luther Ammons and Ethel Stewart Ammons.

Mrs. Donaldson was a lifelong resident of Ponce de Leon, Florida. She was Pentecostal by faith and a member of Pine View Holiness Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed working and helping others.

Mrs. Donaldson was preceded in death by her father and mother; her husband Don Donaldson; one son, Edwin Byrd; sisters Vama Ward, Lou Smetters, Iris Ward, and Alice Andrews; and her brothers Burl Ammons and Doyle Lee Ammons.

Mrs. Donaldson is survived by her son Doyle Stephen Byrd of Panama City Beach, Florida; her grandson Anthony Byrd; three great-grandchildren; and her sister Linda Byrd (Archie) of Ponce de Leon, Florida.

A private family burial will be held in the New Ponce de Leon Cemetery.
