Mr Hiram Cates, of Stockbridge, passed away June 12, 1992. Survived by wife, Mrs Ruth Cates, daughter, Brenda Cates, Peachtree City; brother, Mr Eler Hugh Cates, Louisiana; sisters, Miss Irene Cates, Stockbridge; Mrs Ada Crumbley, Griffin; three grandsons, several nieces and nephews. funeral services will be held Monday at 1 o'clock from Tanners Baptist Church, with remains placed in state at 12:30. Rev Chuck Mills will officiate. Interment, Sherwood Memorial Gardens.. Ranier-Carmichael, Inc, McDonough.
