Mrs J C Cates, 39, died Tuesday at the residence in Ellenwood. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Isaac, Hiram and Hugh Cates; four daughters, Misses Irene, Alma, Ada and Gertrude Cates, and her mother, Mrs J S Graden. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock this morning at Tanners Baptist church with the Rev V K Vaughn officiating. Burial in the churchyard.
