Funeral services for Earl Daniel Tullis, 73, of 906 Anthony, Bossier City, will be at 11 a.m. today in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Bossier City Chapel.

Mr. Tullis died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at his residence after a short illness.

He was born in Jamestown and had lived in Bossier City since 1949. Mr. Tullis was a retired railroad engineer and a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Firemen and Engineers, Caddo Masonic Lodge and the Barksdale Baptist Church of Bossier City.

Officiating today's service will be the Rev. R. David Terry, pastor of Barksdale Baptist Church, and the Rev. M. L. Faler, pastor of Waller Baptist Church in Bossier City.

Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Kurt Nyland of Bossier City; three sons, Charles Tullis and Arthur Tullis, both of Longview, Tex., and Marvin Tullis of Alexandria; three sisters, Mrs. Idell Wiggins of Jamestown, Mrs. Ollie Lary of West Monroe and Mrs. Alcie Young of Bastrop; three brothers, Burnice Tullis of Shreveport, Jim Tullis of Dallas, Tex., and John H. Tullis of McGehee, Ark.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his nephews.
