Mrs. Winifred Whelan of 535 Seymour Street died Aug. 22nd at the family home. She is survived by her husband, Charles P. Whelan; by two sons, Charles E. Whelan, who is with the 198th Infantry in France, and John Whelan of this city; by a daughter, Mrs. George Nitzke; by a brother, James McCarthy; and by a sister, Mrs. Charles Bishop.
