Mrs. Jane McCarthy of 125 Oak Street died Apr. 1st at her home. She was the widow of John McCarthy, who died a month earlier. She is survived by five children, Patrick McCarthy of California, John McCarthy of Howlett Hill, and by James McCarthy, Mrs. Anna Bishop, and Mrs. Winifred Whelan, all of Syracuse, and by seven grandchildren.
