John H. McCarthy, 42, of Howlett Hill, died May 30th at St. Joseph's hospital, where he had been a patient for two weeks. For many years he was the proprietor of a lunchroom on East Genesee Street. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jennie (Jane) Ryan McCarthy; by a brother, James J. McCarthy; and by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Bishop and Mrs. Winifred Whelan. His father, John McCarthy, died three months ago, and his mother, Jane McCarthy, a month later. Funeral services were at St. Cecelia's Church.
