Early Life: Vern was born October 18, 1931, in Lehi, Utah, the ninth child of William Edward and Ethel Mary Roberts Gray.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: In 1950, he married his high school sweetheart, Anna "Jeanine" Hutchings, in New York. They returned back to American Fork, Utah, four years later to raise their family of seven children: Esther, Marty, Bill, Karen, Rosemary, Mathew and Bobby. Vern and Jeanine worked hard over sixty-eight years to raise and support their family of seven children, twenty grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, so far. He spent his time as a lumberjack, boilermaker, a member of the American Welding Society, QC1 Welding Inspector and cowboy for life. Vern Audrian Gray snuck out of camp early Friday morning, March 23, 2018. He left with saddlebags full of eighty-six years of loving memories of his sweetheart and family.
Family Message: "Dad you did good – we will miss you."
Survived By: His sweetheart, Jeanine; five children; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and his adoring sister, Bareen Storrs and extended family.
Preceded In Death By: His daughters: Esther and Rosemary; his parents and at least six siblings.
