Henry Kastler Dies Yesterday
ELWOOD -- Henry Joseph Kastler, 66, 1513 S. E. St., died Wednesday at 1:05 p.m. at Mercy Hospital. He had been in ill health since Christmas.
Mr. Kastler was born in Elwood Dec. 11, 1900, to Henry and Mary Myers Kastler, and married Maude Loser in 1936.
He had been employed at the Tin Plate Company in Elwood, and also at the U.S. Steel Company in Pennsylvania, retiring in 1961. He was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Surviving are the wife, Maude and two sisters: Mrs. Rosa Cochran and Mrs. Anne Keller, both of Elwood.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the York Dunnichay Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends are being received at the York-Dunnichay Funeral Home, where Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today.
